Who can be an affiliate
Anyone can apply at webprofitsacademy.com.au/affiliates. We approve every affiliate by hand, then you get an email with your link and a login to your affiliate dashboard. We can decline an application or end an affiliate account at any time, and you can leave at any time by emailing us.
What you earn
- 50% of the first payment a member you refer makes on their Webprofits Academy membership.
- Calculated on what they actually pay, after any discount or promotion, before tax. If the membership is discounted 20%, your 50% is 50% of the discounted amount.
- First payment only. There's no commission on renewals, upgrades or anything they buy later.
- Membership only. The Claude Code for Marketers training and any other one-off product don't earn a commission.
How a referral is tracked
- Your link works on any page of webprofitsacademy.com.au. It sets a cookie that lasts 60 days.
- Last link wins. If someone clicks 2 affiliates' links, the most recent one before the purchase gets the commission.
- No link, no commission. We can't attribute a sale after the fact, so make sure people join through your link.
- Your dashboard shows visits, referrals, conversions and what's owed to you, updated as it happens.
When you're paid
- A commission becomes payable 30 days after the payment, as long as it hasn't been refunded. A refunded or disputed payment cancels the commission.
- We pay once a month, in the first week, for everything that became payable in the month before.
- The minimum payout is AUD $50. Anything under that rolls over to the next month.
- Payments are made in AUD via Wise to the email address on your affiliate account. You'll be asked for it when you're set up.
The rules
- No self-referrals. You can't earn a commission on your own membership, your company's or a membership you pay for.
- No brand bidding. Don't run ads on "Webprofits", "Webprofits Academy", "Alex Cleanthous" or close variations, and don't send paid traffic straight to our site.
- No coupon, deal or cashback sites. Your link is for your own audience: your clients, your team, your network, your content.
- No spam. Only share your link where people have asked to hear from you.
- Be straight about it. Don't present yourself as Webprofits, don't make income or results claims on our behalf, and disclose that you're an affiliate wherever the law or the platform requires it.
- Breaking a rule forfeits unpaid commissions and ends the affiliate account.
Changes
If we change the commission or these terms, we'll email every affiliate first. Changes apply to referrals made after the change, never to a commission you've already earned.
